A draft amendment to the ARB advertising code proposes that celebrities used on social and digital platforms must be, and appear to be, at least 21. The draft is not yet final.

Who can apply?
Individuals and businesses aged 18 or over who promote to adult audiences and accept our marketing code. Every application is reviewed before approval.
Do I need a website?
No. We also work with YouTube creators, social media accounts and WhatsApp or Telegram communities, after review.
How long does the review take?
Typically 1–2 business days. We may ask for links to your channels and proof of identity.
How and when am I paid?
Monthly, on the payment date set for each operator (shown in your dashboard), once you reach R500. Methods: Skrill, Neteller or PayPal, or 1Voucher, OTT Voucher or Blu Voucher (PIN sent to your registered email).
